It's been an amazing first season for the Kalamazoo Outrage PDL side. Hot on the heels of the brand new franchise's appearance in the final 8 of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League the team celebrated in style with an end of season party.

Players were joined by supporters and board members at trendy Kalamazoo establishment Wings Etc and everyone in attendance was able to reflect on a season of incredible achievements. Outrage players were named to the PDL Team Of The Week five times and defender Terry Alvino was named to the Central Conference Team Of The Year. |

Win Propels Outrage to Conference Finals

In the last 4 days the Kalamazoo Outrage PDL side has claimed 2 of the biggest scalps in the whole of the United Soccer Leagues Premier League. Tuesday's stunning victory over the Chicago Fire Premier was followed up on Saturday night with an astonishing 3-1 road win over perennial PDL powerhouse the Michigan Bucks. Making the wins even more impressive was the fact that both matches were played on the road for an Outrage franchise competing in its inaugural season.

An impressive inaugural season got even better this past weekend as the Kalamazoo Outrage PDL side qualified for the Central Conference Playoffs. Saturday nights 0-0 tie with the visiting Ft Wayne Fever was enough to get the Outrage a coveted play off spot after nearest challengers the Indiana Invaders picked up only one point over the course of the weekend.

Canadian Pro Team to Visit Kalamazoo July 20

The Kalamazoo Outrage announced today that Canadian Pro side The Windsor Border Stars will play an International exhibition match against the Outrage PDL side on Sunday July 20. The match with the Windsor Border Stars will kick off at 1pm and will be played at Mayor's Riverfront Stadium in downtown Kalamazoo. |

The Kalamazoo Outrage PDL team continue to make headlines in their debut season with the announcement by USL soccer yesterday that striker Tom Oatley was named to the PDL Team Of The Week. Oatley impressed during the past week scoring 2 goals against the high flying Cleveland Internationals incidentally his first 2 goals of the season.

The Kalamazoo Outrage PDL side moved 3 points clear of their nearest rivals at the top of the Midwest Division of the Central Conference with a 3-2 home victory over Cleveland Internationals today. Outrage striker Tom Oatley scored twice and Mahamadou Simpara added a third for the Outrage as the debut franchise improved their season record to 7-4-1.

Outrage Prepare for Final Push

As it stands right now Kalamazoo Outrage PDL head coach Stu Riddle should be pretty happy. The brand new franchise sit at the top of the Cenrtral Conference Midwest division standings and have amassed an incredible 5-1 record away from home.
With 5 regular season games left to play over the next 3 weeks Riddle is urging his side to buckle down and do whatever it takes for them to achieve a play off spot "We've put ourselves in a position through our excellent away form where we are in the hunt for a play off spot. We've performed above expectations for a first year team and I think our inaugural season can be deemed a roaring success if we can make the play offs".
